- Entire Paper –Revised May 3, 2010
Beginning Goal Statement:
The purpose of my intro will be to introduce my topic and give some background information on it for the readers. I also want it to hook the reader so they “want” to read more. By the end of this paper I hope to set clear goals for my research, and also to provide background information on my topic about Shopping Addiction. My paper will be prepared for anyone to read because I think that my topic is something that other people may not know much about so I think that they would be curious to read it. I hope that everyone in my class will want to read my paper and give me feedback on how they feel about it. I also hope that that consumers will want to read my paper when it is finished. My main goal for this paper is to get a better understanding on why college age students go into debt so early in their life.
Ending Goal Statement:
The purpose of my into was to introduce my topic and give background information about shopping addiction to many readers. I wanted to hook the reader at the very first sentence by using a quote from a movie that I thought was cute, funny, and that related to my research. I stated my research question at the end of my paper so that any reader would know what I plan to accomplish in my research. I think that by giving information about shopping addiction in my paper can help readers be more interested in reading my paper. I think for the most part that I accomplished my goals for this paper for the first draft.
Beginning Goal Statement*
The purpose of the Literature Review is to show excellent knowledge that I’ve found along with understanding the information. The Literature Review will help me organize my data. It should also show that I have evidence of independent study. It will help the reader by providing information from the research that I have done, and that I will give appropriate information to them. This Literature Review will differ from the other sections of my project because it’s like a preview of what’s to come and what to expect in my discussion and results. I hope to accomplish a really good literature review that will provide enough information to my readers. I hope properly cite all of the authors who I have got information from. I want this paper to be able to be read by teenagers, young adults, and older adults. I want it to be appropriate for all people of all ages. I want to show my readers what I’ve located, read, understood and thought seriously about.
Ending Goal Statement*
The literature Review showed the knowledge that I have found along with understanding the information. The Literature Review helped me organize my data a little better. I think that it shows that I know I have done my research on my topic. I think that I did a decent job on my Literature Review, although I’m confused about the citations for it so I might go to the writing center about it. I think that I provided enough information so that my readers will have a good idea about my research.
Beginning Goal Statement:
For this section of my paper I am going to inform my audience about my primary research. I will explain what I am going to do in order to collect the information to answer my research question. I will specify the age and genders of the people that will be my participants. My goal for this paper is to clearly and fully explain my research methods that include the survey and quiz portions of my research. This paper is prepared for college age students and adults because I think that they will benefit the most from my research.
Ending Goal Statement:
I think that I properly informed my audience about my primary research. I gave information in this section about the gender of my participants and the ages of them. I explained how their gender is not important for my research. I then explained my method of primary research and how it was conducted. I told of the types of questions that I asked and how they were important to the research. I included my information on how I collected the information. I think that I clearly and fully explained my research methods that included the survey and quiz portions of my research.
